MEET OUR TEAM OF EXPERTS

Andy has been with Watson & Knox since January 1978 and is passionate about making it the best that it can be. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a BBA in 1972 and a MBA in 1973. Andy is a proud father and grandfather and has been married to his beautiful wife Anne for over 45 years. During the fall season, you can find Andy at Thomson High School and UGA football games. Also, he is affiliated with the Boy Scouts and the Rotary Club. Andy serves at First United Methodist Church of Thomson on its pastor parish relations committee. His current long-term project is cleaning up the Lovelace lot on the corner of Lee St. and Mesena Rd. in Thomson.

Julie joined Watson & Knox as a Commercial Accounts Manager in 2002. She is originally from Thomson, Georgia and is happily married to her husband, Robert. Julie and her husband enjoy vacationing to destinations including the Western United States and the Caribbean. Julie is an animal lover, especially when it comes to her horses, and spends most weekends trail riding.

Cathy has been a part of the Watson & Knox team as a Commercial Lines Account Manager since 2013. She is passionate about seeking improvements in all areas. Since starting here she has obtained her CIC designation and provides IT assistance to help keep our agency technologically advanced. Cathy is married and has two children Caitlin and Carson. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, going to movies, traveling to the beach, mountains, and camping at the lake.

Ashlee has been with Watson and Knox since 2017 as the Bookkeeper for the Insurance, Real Estate, and Property Management Divisions. She was born and raised in Thomson. Ashlee graduated from Thomson High School and Augusta State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Ashlee and her husband, Joey, have two beautiful girls, Rabun and Rylee. She enjoys spending time with her family doing what they love, being outdoors. In her spare time, Ashlee likes to read and enjoys vacationing with her family at the beach, mountains, and the lake.

Cole started with Watson & Knox as a Personal Lines Account Manager in August 2019. He attended UGA and is a huge dawg fan. Cole is originally from Watkinsville, GA and now resides in Tignall, GA with his wife and 2 children. He is a hobby photographer, who also enjoys playing golf, cooking and tasting good food, and exploring the outdoors as an avid outdoorsman and waterfowler. Cole is also a member of Clark Station Baptist in Tignall, GA.

Courtney Johnson is our personal lines claims representative. She has been happily married to her husband, Josh, since May of 2016. They are now proud parents of two boys, Grant and Cooper. Courtney graduated from Thomson High School in 2009. She is a fan of all sports, and her all-time favorite team is the Georgia Bulldogs! In her spare time, Courtney enjoys hunting, going to concerts, and vacationing at the beach. She and her family are members at First Baptist Church of Thomson.

Rachel joined the Watson & Knox team as receptionist in 2019, she has since obtained her property & casualty license and now serves her clients as an account manager as well as in customer service. Rachel and her husband Chris are proud parents to three children - Madison, Mallory, and Bradley. In her spare time she enjoys DIY projects, adventuring outdoors, and playing with their three dogs. Rachel loves watching old movies, spending time with friends & family, and a good nap. You can also find Rachel cheering for her children in various sports, The Atlanta Braves and The Alabama Crimson Tide!

Natalie joined the Watson & Knox team in August 2022. She is new to the insurance industry but is excited to get things going! Natalie is married to her high school sweetheart, Jacob, and they’ve been together for 12 years. Their only child is their black Labrador that they’ve had since 2016. She was born in Mississippi but moved to Harlem at a young age. Natalie’s husband owns a flooring business, so she spends some of her weekends helping with flooring. During football season, their biggest priority is cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs. All other pastime is spent with her family and friends, especially her nephews.

Hope joined the Watson & Knox Commercial Lines team November 2022. After graduating from Homeschool she received several certifications in the healthcare field but has decided to pursue a career in insurance. Hope is also a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Her hobbies are going to the gym, spending time with family & friends, eating and traveling.

Bryce joined the Watson & Knox team in June 2023. He is a recent UGA grad and letterman baseball player with a degree in economics. Bryce is excited to join the insurance industry and help service & insure our amazing clients. He was born and raised in Augusta where he graduated from Greenbrier High School. Bryce is engaged to his wonderful fiancé Baker Carter and has a dog named Brady. In his spare time Bryce likes to cook, play golf and watch sports (especially the ATL Braves).

Amber became a part of the Watson & Knox team in August 2023. She graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in health administration, from the University of North Florida. In her 11 years in the Employee Benefits space, Amber has done everything from supporting start-ups and small businesses, to consulting for large, complex private equity owned companies. An outside the box thinker, Amber believes clients don’t have to operate from a defensive posture, but making informed data-driven, can put employers in the driver’s seat. Amber’s well-rounded background allows her to approach consulting proactively, and from every angle. Amber and her husband Drew, currently live on their family farm in Millen Georgia with their two children, Savannah (10) and Beau (4) .

Jaci joined the Watson & Knox Commercial Lines team in February 2024. She is from Warrenton, Georgia and graduated from Briarwood Academy in 2019. Jaci graduated from the University of Georgia in December 2023 with a major in Risk Management and Insurance. She is very excited for the opportunity to join the Watson & Knox family and is looking forward to learning and growing within her position. Jaci is a proud aunt to four nieces and one nephew with two more nephews arriving this summer. In her spare time Jaci enjoys playing pickleball, reading, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.

Andy Jr. has served as a Commercial Lines Risk Manager at Watson & Knox for over 17 years and enjoys helping customers by using the Risk Management approach of insurance. He graduated from Thomson High School and the University of Georgia. He continues his support for UGA as a Georgia Football fan. Andy and his wife have two rambunctious boys and one girl. As a family, they enjoy playing football, golfing, and wrestling, like many young boys do. Andy participates in the Georgia Carolina Council, the Chamber of Commerce, Boys Scouts of America, the Boys and Girls Club, the Rotary Club, and First United Methodist Church.

Karlee joined Watson & Knox as Commercial Lines CSR in 2016. She is a graduate of Augusta State University with a degree in Kinesiology. Karlee believes it is important to build strong communities by investing in our children. In 2018, she married her husband, Evan and in 2023, they welcomed their precious daughter, Julie Kate. Outside of her responsibilities, she enjoys being outdoors, riding her horse, traveling, or spending time with her family and friends.

Brooke started with Watson and Knox as a Personal Lines Account Manager in 2016, and now serves as the department’s manager. She was born and raised in Thomson and currently lives in Dearing with her husband Robbie and their two beautiful children, Dallas and Dakota. As a family, they love spending time together, especially outdoors. Both Robbie and Dallas are avid wakeboarders, so you can always find them cruising around the lake on Summer days. When not on the lake, they enjoy riding dirt bikes, snowboarding, and attending a variety of sporting events, especially cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs!

John Osborne started as a Personal Lines Producer at Watson and Knox in 2017. He is from Cleveland, North Carolina; he is a Georgia Football Letterman and a graduate from the University of Georgia with a Degree in Biology. He is married to Laura Osborne, a middle school teacher here in McDuffie County. He has two children Charles and Elizabeth. They attend First Baptist Church here in Thomson, where he serves as a deacon. They have lived in Thomson since 1996. John looks forward to serving you for all your insurance needs!

Jayme joined the Watson & Knox family in 2021 and brings over 18 years of experience in the insurance industry. During his career, he has enjoyed the honor of being nationally recognized as a “Top Producer” in his field as an agent. He also spent 9 years managing a team of over 30 agents that consistently exceeded growth targets and earned the designation as one of the CSRA’s leading sales organizations for insurance. However, the accomplishment he is most proud of is being a husband and a father to an amazing wife and 3 wonderful kids.

Austin began his journey with the Watson & Knox team in December of 2020. He is originally from Augusta, GA. As a graduate from the University of Georgia in May of 2019, he has built many great connections and has learned a lot over the years in school. Some of Austin’s hobbies are playing golf, watching football, and spending time with his Golden Retriever. He is excited about this opportunity and looks forward to helping individuals out with their insurance needs.

Amber started at Watson & Knox in April of 2022. She is originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She moved to Thomson, GA where she attended Thomson High School and graduated in 2004 then attended Augusta State University. She is married to her husband, Karl, and is the mother of two beautiful girls, Alexis & Kelsey. Amber’s spare time is dedicated to her family. Outside of work, you can find her on the sidelines cheering on her oldest daughter, trying to keep up any way she can with her little wild child, or helping her husband with projects around the house.

Yari joined the Watson & Knox team in September 2022. She studied at the Universidad Juarez Autonoma de Tabasco in Mexico. Yari is happily married and has one son. Her hobbies include photography, reading (especially Nicholas Sparks books), spending time with her friends, listening to music, eating and trying new things, and visiting new places. Her favorite book and movie is “A Dog’s Journey.” Yari can speak Spanish, English, and a little Italian. She is excited to meet you soon at the front desk!

Brittany joined the Watson & Knox Personal Lines team in January 2023. She is new to the insurance industry but is no stranger to customer service. She is grateful for this opportunity as she enjoys learning new things, meeting new faces and is truly looking forward to serving the great customers in our community. Brittany is a wife and proud mother to her adorable son, Cashton. She has a love for classic country which greatly influenced her naming her son after Johnny Cash. In her free time she loves to read and cook. If Brittany takes time away from the office for a vacation you can find her trout fishing in the mountains or spending time at the lake house with family.

Robert started with Watson & Knox in June 2023. He is originally from Albany but currently resides in Athens, GA. Robert is a 2018 graduate from the University of Georgia. He loves cheering on his Dawgs during football season. In his spare time you can find Robert fishing, on the golf course or enjoying a game of tennis.

Henry joined the Watson & Knox team in January 2024. Henry spent three years in the industry before joining the Watson and Knox team. He was born and raised in Macon, GA before attending the University of Georgia where he graduated in 2018. Henry enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf. He recently became a father to his beautiful daughter “Betts”.
